In an interview with the Egyptian TV channel “OnTime Sports,” Salah was asked what he wanted to prove to himself at the beginning of the season.
Salah responded: “I wanted to prove to myself that I could win the Premier League and the Champions League for the team without the coach and players who had left.”
Regarding his best three goals this season, Salah selected his goals against Tottenham, Brighton, and Manchester City.
Looking ahead, he said: “I’m optimistic about what’s coming. I feel the coming years will be better than the previous ones.”
As for possibly establishing an academy in the future, Salah commented: “It’s possible, but I think it’s difficult because it might break a lot of people’s hearts and raise unrealistic hopes.”
